Course overview

The Animation & Graphic Design degree program is a multidisciplinary journey designed to transform creative passion into professional mastery. This program merges traditional artistic principles with cutting-edge digital technology, preparing students to become versatile visual storytellers and design strategists.


Throughout the curriculum, students explore the synergy between static design and motion, learning to communicate complex ideas through compelling imagery, typography, and sequential art.

Core Areas of Study

The curriculum is structured to provide a balance of theoretical knowledge and hands-on technical expertise:

  • Foundations of Visual Arts: Mastery of drawing, color theory, anatomy, and perspective as the bedrock of all visual creation.
  • Graphic Design & Branding: In-depth study of typography, grid systems, layout composition, and the development of cohesive corporate identities.
  • 2D & 3D Animation: Developing character designs, storyboarding, and mastering industry-standard software for both traditional hand-drawn and digital CGI animation.
  • User Interface & Experience (UI/UX): Designing intuitive digital environments and understanding user-centered design principles for web and mobile platforms.
  • Professional Practice: Understanding the production pipeline, portfolio development, and the business ethics of the creative industries.

The primary goal of this program is to nurture high-caliber professionals who can lead and innovate in the creative sector.

Eligibility

  • Candidates who have scored 45% or above in +2 or equivalent are eligible to apply. (40% marks for Reservation Category)
  • Candidates who have an aesthetic sense of drawing.
