Course overview

The department of Computer Application was established at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of arts and Science, Balagram in the year 2015. Now a days computer
Applications played a significant role in digital era. The department offers a three
year undergraduate new generation Programme Bachelor of Computer
Applications (BCA).

Objective

• Mold the students with technologically adept, innovative, selfmotivated and responsible citizens through a conducive teaching environment.
• Produce highly motivated and qualified graduates with theoretical and practical.
• Ability to solve problems, individually and in teams.
• Preparing students for career in software engineering, web development, System and Network administration, software configuration and Testing and so more.
• Offering opportunities for internship, development of projects, and improve presentation skill.

Eligibility

Candidate shall be required to have passed the plus two/equivalent examination in science stream with Mathematics/Computer Science/Informatics practices optional.
