Forensic Science is the application of scientific principles and techniques to investigate and solve crimes. This interdisciplinary field encompasses various scientific disciplines, including chemistry, biology, physics, and computer science, to provide objective and reliable information for legal proceedings.

Our B.Sc. Forensic Science Hons. program provides an in-depth education in the application of scientific principles for justice. Students will gain expertise in essential branches of forensic science, including Forensic Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Cyber Forensic, through a well-structured curriculum and intensive hands-on training. Equipped with a state-of-the-art forensic science laboratory and guided by experienced professionals, students will develop practical skills and a thorough understanding of the field. Regular interactions with forensic scientists and crime investigators ensure that our graduates are prepared to meet the demands of both public and private sector roles, as well as to pursue advanced studies in specialized areas of forensic science.

Objective

Our goal in B.Sc. Forensic Science programme is to produce professional, moral graduates who may be used for advanced study or immediate employment due to their proficiency in problem-solving, legal analysis and application, mathematical reasoning, investigation, and scientific laboratory techniques.

Eligibility

Eligibility Candidates shall be required to have passed Plus Two or equivalent examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as individual subjects of study.
