In pursuance of its Action Plan for performance evaluation, assessment and accreditation and quality up-gradation of institutions of higher education, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore proposes that every institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a quality sustenance measure. In line with the directives of NAAC, JNIAS’S IQAC was constituted in 2021. It operates as a facilitative and participative mechanism that fosters a culture of quality consciousness among faculty, staff, and students. The IQAC focuses on the continuous improvement of academic and administrative processes, curriculum development, teaching-learning methodologies, research, and institutional governance. It coordinates various quality-related activities, including assessment and accreditation processes, feedback mechanisms, institutional planning, and the implementation of quality benchmarks. The ultimate goal of the IQAC is to promote excellence in all aspects of the college's functioning and to contribute to the holistic development of students and the community at large.
